Role Description:

As a Compliance & Operations Trainee, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our operational frameworks and ensuring compliance with regulations. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with the core functions of a regulated PSP, focusing on merchant onboarding, operational efficiency, and process development to support business growth and regulatory adherence.

That means you will not only support and leverage your skill set but learn & grow by taking on projects with a high degree of ownership.


Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Keep an eye on AML/CTF legislative dynamics, ensure all merchant onboarding processes adhere to our Policies and Procedures. Update and refine compliance protocols to meet evolving legal requirements.

  • Merchant Onboarding: as a part of the learning experience you will help develop and execute a streamlined onboarding framework that minimizes time-to-market while ensuring compliance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Tech, Legal, and Business Development teams to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance and operations. Provide compliance insights during product development and strategic planning.

Experience & Skills
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law

  • Entrepreneurial problem-solver with a structured, analytical approach and independent working style.

  • Analytical, organised and eager to understand the intersection of various laws, rules and regulations.

  • Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks. "This is not my job!" is not part of your vocabulary.

  • Adaptable to change and ambiguity, with strong logical thinking and prioritisation skills.

  • Team player with a collaborative spirit.

  • Quick learner, open to acquiring new tools and skills as needed.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Recruitment Process:

  1. Screening Call with COO - 15-30 mins

  2. Case Study/Test (async) - 1 hour

  3. In-person meeting at our office - 1 hour
